In her capacity as a juvenile lawyer in the state of Connecticut, Attorney Diane Belinkie has represented children, parents, and guardians in a wide range of legal matters. Her experience includes juvenile delinquincy cases, allegations of juvenile crime, cases involving neglect and/or abuse, grandparent and other non-parent rights, custody and visitation matters, and cases involving emancipation. In the state of Connecticut, grandparents and other relatives can intervene in a juvenile neglect case where a child is temporarily seized from the parents or guardians. If you are contemplating such action, please call our office today to schedule an appointment.

Although the Juvenile Court is not a criminal court for adults, there are circumstances where an investigation related to a juvenile proceeding can result in criminal charges against the parents or guardians of the child. In a neglect case, termination of parental rights petition, and other juvenile matters, parents as well as the child are entitled to a lawyer. Thus, we reccommend speaking to an experienced attorney when involved in any juvenile legal proceedings.

Please contact Attorney Diane Belinkie for help with DCF problems, juvenile delinquency, and other juvenile legal matters.
